Sewing Room - water damage - found the source!

Lars noticed water damaged on the floor by the wall, ended up replacing the wall, replacing sagging two 2x6s with 2x10s and replaced the ceiling and several 2x4s bracing the ceiling - in the process got glimpses of the original blue used as external trim colour on eaves and soffits.

Kitchen - original pathway to the family room is restored Dec 10

 about 40  years ago, the home owner drywalled this pathway closed, creating a small window with a sliding pocket door. The opening has now been restored to the original.

 looks like the original hardwood floor extends under the kitchen linoleum.
